Seminar: Selling the Vikings

Selling the Vikings (WP6).

The next project seminar will be held in northern Norway in April 2018.  The details are as follows:

23rd April, 2018 Arrival day in Harstad for Steering Committee
24th April, 2018 Steering Committee meeting & arrival day in Lofoten for partners and associated partners
25th & 26th April, 2018  Seminar in Lofoten
27th April, 2018  Departure day

Partners are reminded that due to the bus transfer between Harstad and Lofoten, only one staff member from each partner should attend the Steering Committee.

The seminar will include a lecture on marketing and sales. Best-practice institutions as well as external experts from the tourism sector will present new and successful concepts and business models for cultural attractions/institutions.


A one off charge of €250 per person will be invoiced to project partners prior to the event.  Invoices will be issued and payment should be made in advance via bank transfer.

Associate Partners/Other Seminar Participants

Associate Partners and other seminar participants will be charged €350 for their participation at the seminar and for their food.  Again, invoices will be issued and payment should be made in advance via bank transfer.

For those of you that are planning to spend more time, there are several other options – in combination with boats ( - from Bodø to Stamsund) and rental cars or buses
