Second edition of the International festival for the Shield Maidens
"The 2nd International Festival of the "Shield Maiden Lagertha". The festival will be a two-day outdoor event taking place in the Warownia Jomsborg open-air museum in Warsaw. The festival is part of over twenty years of activity of the Historical Foundation, which has organized over thirty international festivals and historical events in Poland and Europe. During the festival, there will be tournaments for female warriors organized by Jarl Einar and the Jomsborg Vikings Hird Team. The above festival is the first activity of this type in the world, addressed on the one hand to women reenactors of the early Middle Ages, taking part in Viking and Slavic style fights, and on the other hand to a wide family audience, mainly families with children, who usually constitute the majority of recipients of similar events .
